Diwali Celebration at Aapla Ghar!

The Senior KG students of Deccan Education Society’s New English Medium School, Pre-Primary Section, celebrated Diwali with the children and senior citizens at Aapla Ghar, Donje, near Sinhagad Fort, spreading joy, love and kindness.

As a gesture of care and social responsibility, students, parents, teachers and non-teaching staff contributed essential groceries such as rice, dal, wheat, sugar and other daily necessities. Teachers decorated the premises with beautiful rangolis, diyas and colourful lanterns, filling the surroundings with festive cheer.

The activity was planned under the guidance of Headmistress Shilpa Kulkarni, with special efforts by teachers Prachi Pasalkar and Swati Mehendale.

A beautiful celebration that taught our little ones the true spirit of Diwali – sharing, caring and spreading happiness!
